1. Core Privacy Commitments
The App is designed to process data locally on your device. Except for processing that may be required by Apple's system services and the App Store to provide system capabilities, authorization, payment, or review mechanisms, the App does not upload your personal information, photos, videos, Screen Time-related data, or app management configurations to our servers.
The App does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The App does not provide account registration, login, cloud synchronization, or online community features, and does not create user profiles.
2. Information Collection and Local Processing
Except for local on-device processing described in this Policy and processing that may be required by Apple's system services and the App Store to provide system capabilities, the App does not collect and transmit user data as defined for Apple App Store privacy labels.
To provide core features such as app locking, usage time management, app lock page display, and preference settings, the App may store necessary settings and configurations locally on your device, including but not limited to:
- App management rules you create;
- Usage duration, time periods, repeat rules, or restriction conditions you set;
- App lock page display methods, app lock page display content, and display preferences you select;
- Photos, videos, or local references to them that you select;
- Necessary information provided by Apple's Screen Time frameworks, such as app selection identifiers, activity thresholds, and restriction states.
The information above is used only to perform features that you actively configure on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers and is not used for advertising, tracking, third-party analytics, or user profiling.
3. Photo and Video Access
When you choose to use custom photos or videos as app lock page display content, the App may request access to your photo library. This permission is used solely to:
- Allow you to select photos or videos as app lock page display content;
- Display selected photos or videos locally on your device;
- Store selected content or local references to it on your device only to the extent necessary to provide the app lock page display feature.
The App does not upload, sell, analyze, or share any photos or videos you select with third parties. You may manage or revoke the App's photo library access at any time through iOS system settings. After revoking access, custom app lock page display content features that depend on this permission may no longer function properly.
4. Screen Time Permissions
The App uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks, including but not limited to FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings. These permissions are used only to provide app management features that you configure, including:
- Allowing you to select apps or app categories to manage;
- Detecting relevant usage duration, time periods, or activity status based on rules you set;
- Displaying app lock page display content when your configured conditions are met;
- Restricting access to selected apps or app categories according to your settings.
The App may store locally on your device necessary information provided by Apple's Screen Time frameworks, such as app selection identifiers, rule configurations, activity thresholds, and restriction states, in order to perform the management rules you set.
Screen Time-related data is managed by Apple's system frameworks. The App does not read the specific content of your activity within other apps, does not upload Screen Time-related data to our servers, and does not use it for advertising, tracking, analytics, or user profiling.
You may manage, modify, or revoke Screen Time-related authorization at any time through iOS system settings or relevant features in the App. After revoking authorization, app management features that depend on Screen Time permissions may no longer function properly.
5. Notifications
On some iOS versions, Apple's system does not support opening the App and showing the timer page directly from a button on the app lock page. To provide a similar experience on those iOS versions, the App may request notification permission and send a local notification after you tap the button on the app lock page. When you tap that notification, you can open the App and view the corresponding timer page or rest screen.
The App uses local notifications handled by iOS on your device. It does not use remote push notifications and does not send notifications through our servers. To open the corresponding timer page or rest screen, a local notification request may carry locally on your device an identifier for the relevant management rule or timer state. This identifier is not sent to our servers.
Notification content is used only to remind you to view the timer page or rest screen in the App, and is not used for advertising, tracking, third-party analytics, or user profiling.
On iOS versions that support opening the App directly from the app lock page button, this navigation feature may not depend on notification permission. You may manage or turn off the App's notification permission at any time through iOS system settings. If you turn off notification permission, the experience of opening the timer page after tapping the app lock page button may be affected on iOS versions that do not support direct opening.
6. In-App Purchases
If you purchase paid features in the App, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment card number, bank account information, or other full payment credentials.
To enable paid features, the App may read or store necessary purchase status or entitlement status locally on your device. This information is not uploaded to our servers and is not used for advertising, tracking, or user profiling.
7. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion
Settings, configurations, app lock page display content, and Screen Time-related rules created by the App are stored only on your device. They are retained only for as long as necessary to provide the App's functionality, or until you delete them, reset the relevant settings, revoke permissions, or uninstall the App.
You can delete, reset, or disable local configurations through the relevant features in the App. You may also uninstall the App to delete app data stored locally on your device, subject to how iOS handles app data deletion.
Because the App does not upload your personal information to our servers, we generally cannot access, export, or delete data stored locally on your device. If you need assistance, you may contact us using the information provided in this Policy.
8. Third-Party Services
The App relies on iOS system capabilities, Apple's Screen Time frameworks, the App Store, StoreKit, and local notification capabilities provided by Apple to enable authorization, app management, purchases, and system notifications. Apple's handling of information in connection with those system and App Store services is governed by Apple's privacy policy and applicable terms.
Other than the Apple system and App Store services described above, the App currently does not integrate third-party advertising networks, third-party analytics services, third-party tracking services, or data broker services that collect user data.
If the App integrates any third-party service in the future that affects how data is handled, we will update this Privacy Policy before such use and make disclosures as required by applicable laws and App Store requirements.
9. Tracking and Advertising
The App does not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and does not use your data for targeted advertising, advertising measurement, or sharing with data brokers.
The App currently does not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) tracking authorization. If the App's functionality changes in the future and involves tracking, we will obtain your authorization as legally required and update this Privacy Policy and App Store privacy information accordingly.
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not specifically directed to children. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Minors should use the App under the guidance of a parent or guardian.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to the App, please contact us using the information in this Policy. Because the App does not upload personal information to our servers, we generally cannot access data stored locally on a child's device, but we will provide reasonable assistance where possible.
11. Your Choices and Permission Controls
You may manage or revoke the App's permissions at any time through iOS system settings, including photo library access, Screen Time-related authorization, and notification permission. After revoking permissions, features that depend on those permissions may no longer function properly.
You may also modify, delete, or disable app management rules, app lock page display settings, and local configurations that you create in the App.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or App Store requirements. Updated versions will be posted on this page and will become effective upon publication, unless otherwise stated in the updated version.
If an update involves a material change to how the App handles data, we will notify you within a reasonable scope through in-app notices, release notes, or other appropriate means.
